Meghan Dwyer
In her classes, Meghan invites students to slow down, feel deeply, and to be gentle and compassionate with themselves. Her gifts include holding space for others to listen to the quiet wisdom embodied in the rhythm of their own hearts and to remember that their true nature is that of Mother Nature.
About Meghan
Meghan is a yoga teacher, shamanic guide, ceremonialist and women's circle facilitator residing in Mt Airy, Philadelphia and raised by the waters and woods of the Wissahickon. She's been practicing yoga since 2003 and in 2009 she completed her first 200 hr teacher training at Blue Banyan Yoga Studio in Philadelphia. In 2013 she graduated from Kelly Morris’ 300 hr Conquering Lion Yoga Teacher Training in NYC, which combined Jivamukti Yoga with elements of Tibetan Buddhism, Shamanism and the Divine Feminine. She is also certified in Yin Yoga, trained by Corina Benner in Levels 1 and 2.
Meghan is deeply inspired by mountain traditions, including the spiritual lineages of the Himalayas - Sri Vidya + Tibetan Buddhism - and and has been apprenticing in the Andean Mystical Tradition of Peru since 2012.
At the heart of Meghan’s work is gathering women together, weaving culture, ritual and mystery into spaces for connection, healing and rememberance.
Meghan is the oldest of 7 kids and her sibs are her best friends. She feels freest swimming in the ocean and dancing to live music, especially if it’s reggae or Latin.
Meghan’s regular schedule of classes includes Pelvic Care for Women, Yin, Slow Flow and Gentle. She also teaches New Moon Yoga Under the Katsura Trees at Morris Arboretum. For her upcoming workshops + retreats, filter by class type below.

“Being Meghan’s student feels like waking up to my best self. It’s a magnificent process of remembering, grieving, healing and renewing. Her work has been my medicine and I cherish her ability to so gracefully connect women to our Earth, and to each other.”
“Meghan’s wisdom, insight, and general way of moving in the world has shifted my perspective on the feminine. And has reconnected me to my comfort in knowing the Divine, which I've recently felt disconnected from for various reasons. She’s helped me to remember.”
“I highly recommend MotherCircle to any woman wanting to live more consciously, cultivate meaningful community, and help create a culture where women genuinely support one another and thrive.”
