Our yoga practice calls us into action.
Yoga is practical tools for these times, helping us meet complexity with courage, build real-life skills, and carry our intentions into the way we live, work, and relate to one another. And these times are asking for more from us - more presence, more resilience, more care for our nervous systems + for one another.
Yoga is not an escape from the world, but rather a tool that helps us meet it. It’s is a practice of mind–body integration, where we learn to listen inwardly while staying engaged with the world, using breath, movement, and awareness as tools for everyday life. And perhaps most importantly, we do this practice together.
At Camaraderie, we are rooted in the belief + power of community.
Practicing in community reminds us of what’s possible: being seen, supported, and grounded alongside others makes this work not only healing, but sustainable. And it's how we shift culture.
We invite you to practice and learn with us through any of our regular yoga classes, Yoga for Mental Health offerings, or opportunities to study together in a variety of workshops and trainings.
At it's heart, yoga is a way of living. 🦋 None of us are free until all of us are free!

Collective care is a daily practice. We remember that we belong to each other.
In solidarity with the general strike, we will be closed January 30 + all team members paid for their regularly scheduled hours.
Our collective withdrawal is a show of solidarity to our immigrant communities + a way of showing what happens when people step back from the usual rhythms of participation, when time, labor, and money become real leverage for change. It’s about making disruption visible in the language systems tend to listen to most: the economy.
When we pause together, we remind ourselves that care, connection, and collective power matter as much off the mat as they do on it.
There’s no single right way to show up. Loud or quiet, public or private — let your actions be rooted in care for those living this every day.
Ways to engage:
Call your representatives. Urge them to oppose the upcoming ICE funding bill. 5 Calls is the easiest + most effective way for US constinuents to make a political impact.
Support local immigrant businesses.
Connect to mutual aid groups in your community.
Stay committed to the practices that help to shift consciousness + keep you grounded in love. Come to class. ✌🏽
